About the role and you
We’re looking for a talented Video Editor that has the skills, sporting knowledge and speed to turn over editorial and commercial edits. A sharp eye for social media trends and YouTube distribution is a must as well as a strong interest in all national and international sports. If you live and breathe Premier Pro and the Adobe Suite, and you know how to turn raw footage into scroll-stopping content — we want to hear from you.
Key responsibilities:
- Edit video content from various studio, field and stadium shoots.
- Manage the studio LEDs by ensuring all shows align with studio bookings in the LED schedule.
- Maintain, develop and grow key social media channels across Sport and Racing platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and YouTube with compelling and talent driven
- content.
- Have an intimate understanding of social media channels and social content trends.
- Support the delivery of client content for the SEN platform and partner platforms, liaising with sales staff for client distribution.
- Use Photoshop and Canva to design core materials for video and social presentation.
- Use editorial and creative nous to determine the best content for the right platform and reach the biggest audiences possible.
- Attend field shoots and develop as a camera and production skills with training and guidance.
- Work in a roster across the week, including evening and weekend work.
The ideal candidate we are looking for will:
- Have 2+ years of professional video editing experience, ideally with a portfolio of commercial and/or branded content.
- Be an expert in Adobe Premiere Pro, with solid experience across the Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Have a good understanding of YouTube, social media platforms, best practices, emerging platforms and audience behaviour.
- Have strong interest and knowledge in sports — from global football to niche communities — with an understanding of how fans engage with content.
- Is a natural visual storyteller with great instincts for music, motion, and mood.
- Is organized, deadline-driven, and comfortable taking creative ownership.
