Key Responsibilities:

1. Video editing software proficiency: You need to be proficient in using popular video editing software
2. Understanding of video formats: Knowing the various video and audio formats (e.g., MP4, MOV, AVI, WAV, MP3) and codecs (e.g., H.264, ProRes) is essential to ensure compatibility and proper export settings.
3. Color grading and correction: This includes adjusting the color balance, exposure, contrast, and saturation to make the video look visually appealing.
4. Audio editing and mixing: Video editors often need to clean up, enhance, or mix audio. Knowledge of sound design, background music placement, and voice-over adjustments is important.
5. Motion graphics and visual effects: Skills in creating and incorporating animations, transitions, and special effects can elevate a video. This includes knowledge of software like Adobe After Effects for compositing.
