The Videographer operates video cameras and related equipment in the production and edits video productions to achieve the desired promotional and/or educational objectives. The Videographer interacts with internal and external participants involved in the projects in a highly collaborative environment that requires input and feedback from the production/account management team. In projects that call for it, the Videographer may function as the Producer or Director on set and be responsible for evaluating project objectives and target audience, staying within budget, time, and operating within program format and content to attain desired goals. The ideal candidate has to be agile, creative, disciplined, highly motivated and has a native understanding of digital resources to deliver the best for the clients.
Responsibilities and Duties
● Assist in planning and creating short video content (e.g. Youtube Shorts, Reels, TikTok) or long form video content (Youtube, IGTV, Facebook) for digital marketing solutions
● Operate and maintain proper levels and calibration of cameras, audio and video recorders, and other production equipment
● Determine the necessary technical support and assist with the assembling, preparing and setting up equipment prior to filming, which may include tripods, monitors, lighting, cables and leads, backdrops and headphones
● Complete preventive maintenance reports on video and audio production equipment; assist in repair and upkeep of studio and production sets and properties
● Manage production timeline and ensure timelines are met from brief reception to assets delivery
● Maintain equipment inventory and production schedule
● Produce assets at a steady pace with a critical eye to details
● Contribute to design brainstorm and advice when working with the marketing team for campaigns, presentations, events and more
● Concept presentation to the marketing team by providing design arrangement, size, type and style, and the medium/platforms of communication
● Complete projects by coordinating with internal/ external stakeholders, art services, printers, etc. where applicable
● Manage all stages of video production, including project conception, filming, capturing professional-quality audio, editing, distribution and archiving
● Perform the full range of editing works from splicing to sound balancing to color correction and color grading
Qualifications and Skills
● Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Film/ Visual Communications / Design/ Mass Comm or equivalent
● Minimum of 3 years in the creative/media industry – candidates are required to send in their portfolio for reference
● Understanding of Digital marketing
● Passionate about social media and online content
● Technical knowledge of professional lighting and photography equipment
● Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite Cloud – Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom
● Proficient in non-linear editing software, such as Da Vinci Resolve
● Excellent knowledge of audio balancing and color grading, sequencing of clips and exporting in a variety of formats
● A strong sense of story-telling is a plus
● On-site execution job in Singapore
