Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Video Editor to join our communications team. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing videos that showcase our programs, impact, and success stories. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio, excellent storytelling skills, and the ability to work well under tight deadlines. Key Responsibilities: 1. Edit videos for various media platforms, including social media, websites, and fundraising campaigns. 2. Collaborate with the communications team to develop concepts and storyboards. 3. Select and assemble footage, music, and sound effects that align with our brand guidelines. 4. Ensure all videos meet our quality standards and are delivered on time. 5. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies. Requirements: 1. 1+ years of experience in video editing. 2. Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, specifically Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop. 3. Strong understanding of storytelling principles and video production techniques. 4. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. 5. Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines. Nice to Have: 1. Experience working with non-profit organizations or social causes. 2. Knowledge of color grading and audio mixing. 3. Familiarity with other video editing software, such as Avid Media Composer or Final Cut Pro.
