Job Title: Videographer & Content Editor (Junior) – Capture & Create the Face of Our Brand
Location: Sydney CBD (Full-Time | 5 Days In-Office)
Salary: $70,000 – $85,000 + Super

Join Australia’s #1 Property Investment Group
At Freedom Property Investors, we’re on a mission to help busy, everyday Australians build wealth safely through property. With over 10,000 members served, 300+ full-time team members, and 2,000+ five-star Google reviews, we pride ourselves on being the industry leaders in investment-grade property.

We’re now looking for a hands-on creative to join our marketing team as a Videographer & Content Editor (Junior) — someone who can move fast, shoot sharp, and deliver scroll-stopping content across video, podcast, and social platforms. You’ll be on your feet, camera in hand, capturing the energy of our people, brand, and message — and transforming raw footage into polished edits that people want to watch.

About the Role
This is not a deskbound editing job — it’s a field-based execution role. You’ll be:

  • Filming with camera in hand (not tripods) at events, in-office, and on location

  • Travelling around Sydney (driver’s licence and own car required)

  • Capturing dynamic content in real time, from shoots to sessions

  • Editing high-volume social and YouTube content

  • Creating scroll-worthy thumbnails that stop people mid-feed

You’ll support our Head of Content — and you’ll learn fast. But you must show up ready to roll: organised, active, and accountable.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Operate camera equipment to film content on the move (not fixed shots)

  • Capture high-quality sound and visuals at in-office, off-site, and outdoor locations

  • Set up lights, audio, and gear — then film with confidence and clarity

  • Independently travel around Sydney for shoots (driver’s licence and car required)

  • Edit short and long-form content for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and LinkedIn

  • Add subtitles, transitions, music, overlays, and sound corrections

  • Design compelling thumbnails for each piece of content

  • Back up and organise all media files in shared folders

  • Deliver final content in requested formats, specs, and timelines

  • Work closely with our Head of Content on daily priorities and output targets

What You’ll Need

  • 1–2+ years in a content creation or videography/editing role

  • Comfortable physically operating a camera — this is a high-movement role

  • Confident using DSLR or mirrorless cameras, mics, and basic lighting

  • Strong editing skills in Premiere Pro or Final Cut (Photoshop or Canva for thumbnails)

  • Experience creating content for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, or podcast clips

  • Strong sense of audio — clean sound, mic setup, background noise awareness

  • Driver’s licence and reliable vehicle (required for off-site filming)

  • Highly organised — you’ll be managing files, formats, and tight turnarounds

  • Coachable — takes feedback and improves fast

  • Positive energy and genuine passion for video creation and storytelling

Do Not Apply If…

  • You only want to edit behind a desk — this is an on-your-feet camera role

  • You don’t have a valid driver’s licence or car

  • You require remote or hybrid flexibility — this is 5 days in-office

  • You need step-by-step supervision to complete tasks

  • You’re not open to coaching or feedback

Your Scorecard (KPIs)

  • Content Output – Volume of edited videos and assets delivered weekly

  • Turnaround Speed – Raw-to-publish timelines met consistently

  • Quality – Clean framing, stable footage, strong sound, brand-aligned visuals

  • Thumbnail Performance – Scroll-stopping visuals delivered for each video

  • Shoot Readiness – Gear, audio, and footage captured correctly on first pass

  • Collaboration – Responsiveness and alignment with Head of Content

What You’ll Get

  • $70K–$85K base + super

  • Massive growth opportunity working under a Head of Content in a fast-paced team

  • Full-time, 5-days-a-week in-office role at our Sydney CBD HQ — no remote/hybrid
