Rob’s first job (whilst still at college) was designing the UK features pages at Marvel Comics. He joined Framestore in 1986, where his early projects included the iconic opening sequence for Martin Campbell’s Golden Eye and Supervision on Lost in Space.

Rob has successfully led VFX crews for every type of show including:
Christopher Columbus’ Harry Potter entires, Guillermo Del Toro’s Blade II, Len Wiseman’s Underworld, Danny Boyle’s The Beach, Spike Jonze’s Where the Wild Things Are and Baz Luhrmann’s Australia.

In 2014 he worked on José Padilha’s Robo Cop, collaborating with Overall VFX Supervisor Jamie Price to bring the Omni Corp robots to life and craft complex battle scenes. Rob completed work in 2016 as the VFX shoot supervisor on Marvel’s Doctor Strange, and he held the role of 2nd Unit VFX Supervisor on the shoot of J.K.Rowling’s sequel Fantastic Beasts:
The Crimes of Grindelwald.

His most recent projects include the BAFTA-winning HBO/BBC adaptation of His Dark Materials, A Boy Called Christmas and on-set supervision for the third Fantastic Beasts instalment.
