Job Summary:

The 3D Designer & Video Editor at VUZ will be responsible for creating high-quality 3D assets, animations, and visual effects that bring immersive content to life. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in 3D design and motion graphics, with proficiency in industry-standard design and editing software.

Responsibilities:

  • Build 3D scenes from scratch for simulations and custom client requests.
  • Create videos and visual assets for presentations and client pitches.
  • Develop AI-generated video content when required
  • Travel to events (regional and international) for on-site coverage, filming, and production support.
  • Conceptualize, model, texture, light, and render 3D assets and environments using Blender or other 3D software.
  • Create high-quality animations, visual effects, and motion graphics to be used in immersive experiences, product showcases, and marketing campaigns.
  • Design and produce motion graphics for projection mapping projects.
  • Develop 3D elements optimized for multi-platform use (mobile, web, VR, AR).

  • Use After Effects and Premiere Pro to design and animate motion graphics for video content.
  • Edit and enhance video projects, integrating 3D and 2D elements seamlessly.

  • Design supporting graphics, key visuals, and promotional materials using Photoshop.

  • Work closely with the creative, product, and marketing teams to understand project requirements and deliver innovative design solutions.
  • Manage multiple projects with tight deadlines while maintaining high attention to detail.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, tools, and techniques in 3D design, animation, and video production.
  • Ensure all deliverables align with VUZ’s brand identity and creative vision.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a 3D Designer, Motion Graphics Artist, or similar role.
  • Proficiency in Blender (or equivalent 3D software), Photoshop, After Effects, and Premiere Pro.
  • Strong background in 3D design, motion graphics, and video editing.
  • Experience in videography and event coverage.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to AI video workflows.
  • Solid understanding of 3D modeling, texturing, lighting, rendering, and animation workflows.
  • Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail, storytelling, and visual aesthetics.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Knowledge of AR/VR content production is a plus.
