Your New Role:
The Staff, Strategy & Operations position will play a pivotal role within the Strategy and Operations team, driving strategic planning and execution across the Enterprise Technology organization. This individual will help ensure operational excellence, team alignment, and execution in support of Warner Bros. Discovery’s broader business goals. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of enterprise technology systems, tools, services, and processes—paired with outstanding communication, organizational, and prioritization skills.
Your Role Accountabilities:
COMMUNICATION AND COLLABORATION
-
Develop overarching communication strategy for the organization (internal, business customer, vendor, partner)

Facilitate open and transparent communication across all levels of the organization, promoting a culture of collaboration and teamwork

Strategically align communication efforts amongst leadership teams to ensure messages are clear, concise, and timely

Serve as a liaison between the Technology Divisions and other departments within WBD, fostering effective communication channels

Prepare and present insightful reports, updates, and recommendations to executive leadership and stakeholders
STRATEGY
-
Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop Enterprise Technology strategy and goals
-
Ensure alignment between Enterprise Technology objectives and broader business objectives
-
Accurately and clearly articulate strategic issues and provide relevant, logical options for solving them
-
Create comprehensive and meaningful strategy presentations for senior executives
-
Keep current on Enterprise Technology trends and best practices
OPERATIONS
-
Optimize business processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and productivity
-
Collaborate with the Administrative & Operations team to prioritize operational requirements and implement improvements
-
Assist leadership with special assignments such as evaluating vendors, gathering/evaluating consultant proposals, supporting culture initiatives, or other responsibilities as requested
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
-
Drive strategic initiatives that cross Enterprise Technology domains
Qualifications & Experiences:
-
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant work experience
-
6+ years of prior experience in a related field (business consulting, business development, project management, strategy & operations)
-
Experience developing financial models in Excel and facilitating business discussions
-
Expert user of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint); working knowledge of Smartsheet and visualization tools, e.g., Power BI, Tableau
-
Experience working in a global company
Not Required but preferred experience:
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business or a related field
-
Business consulting experience
-
Project Management certifications
-
Experience in Enterprise Technology: HR, Finance, Legal, Corporate, Service Management
-
Experience with ServiceNow Platform
-
Knowledge of and passion for media, entertainment, and technology industries (including key players, growth trends and drivers, new media models, industry structure, etc.)
