Digital Producer (Video Editor)

Job Title: Video Editor (Hybrid)
Location: New York, NY (Hybrid – In office Tues-Thurs)
Duration: 3-Month W2 Contract (Potential for Extension)
Pay Rate: $35-$40/hour (Based on Experience)

Job Summary:

Russell Tobin & Associates is seeking a skilled Video Editor to support a well-known global fashion and lifestyle brand. This is a hybrid opportunity based in New York City, requiring in-office presence three days a week (Tuesday-Thursday), with remote work flexibility on other days. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, with a strong background in producing quick-turnaround, social-first content. Experience in the fashion or beauty industry is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Edit and produce short-form video content for social media, web, and email platforms
• Collaborate with Art Directors and Designers to bring campaign concepts to life
• Create motion graphics and animations using Adobe After Effects
• Support creative development across brand campaigns and daily deliverables
• Meet tight deadlines while maintaining high quality and brand consistency
• Assist with occasional video shoots (preferred but not required)

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of professional video editing experience (internships acceptable)
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premiere Pro and After Effects
• Experience editing for social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
• Strong creative portfolio showcasing relevant video editing work
• Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Bachelor s degree in Design, Film, Multimedia, or related field preferred
• Prior experience in fashion, beauty, or lifestyle content is a plus

Work Schedule:

• Hybrid Work Environment: Tuesday-Thursday in-office; remote on remaining days
• Typical workload includes daily and weekly content production timelines
