Position Summary SUMMARY:
Operates video cameras and related equipment in the production and editing of promotional videos, educational program recaps, and other video productions.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operates cameras, on location (ABQ main campus) or at AASS-affiliated events off campus, in the production of professional pre-recorded programming.
Designs, transports, sets up, and operates production equipment, including audio and lighting equipment, for field and studio productions.
Computer edits video segments on a variety of formats.
Maintains equipment inventory and field and studio production schedules.
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum QualificationsEnrolled in a degree seeking program at UNM, Enrolled at least half-time (6 hours) at UNM for fall and spring semesters (Audit hours do not count), and if Work Study, you must meet Satisfactory Academic Progress.
Preferred QualificationsList the preferred qualifications within this text box.– Demonstrated ability to create videos with minimal supervision– Ability to manage multiple projects that require videography and photography-Ability to maintain organized and communicate regularly about projects.-Knowledge of professional systems to edit videos and align with UNM branding standards
