Job Position(s): NewsNation -Remote News Video Editor

 

NewsNation is seeking a skilled Remote Video Editor to join our team. This full-time position supports the creation of high-quality video content for Digital platforms, Internal Content and be able to aid Broadcast teams when needed. The ideal candidate is efficient, creative, detail-oriented, and comfortable working under daily news deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

· Edit Digital segments, News style packages, short-form content and internal shorts

· Use Adobe Premiere and Creative Suite to assemble compelling narratives

· Collaborate with Producers, Correspondents, and other Editors via platforms such as Teams, Frame.io and Latakoo

· Manage and archive content using BitCentral workflows

· Ensure all content meets editorial standards, technical specs, and branding guidelines

· Deliver projects on time, often with tight turnarounds

· Take on additional projects as assigned

Required Skills & Experience:

· Proficient in Adobe Premiere and Creative Suite · Familiarity with BitCentral, Latakoo, and Frame.io workflows a plus

· 2+ years of experience in a news, media, or post-production environment

· Strong editorial judgment and visual storytelling skills

· Ability to work independently while remaining part of a virtual team

Additional Requirements:

· Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays if needed

Salary Range: (as per experience) $30.00 -34:00/hour
