About Particle6
Particle6 is an award-winning creative production company that blends compelling storytelling with cutting-edge AI. From original broadcast series to brand campaigns and immersive content, we use a mix of traditional and AI-enhanced techniques to deliver high-quality visual storytelling across broadcast, film, and commercial platforms.
About the Role
We’re looking for a skilled and adaptable Video/Motion Editor to join our post-production team. This role bridges traditional editing with emerging AI workflows, and you’ll work across a diverse slate—TV, film, animation, and branded content.
You’ll work closely with a Creative Producer and an AI Assistant who will support elements of your workflow and report directly to you.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone confident in both conventional post-production and AI tools, with proven experience creating AI-driven content and a strong understanding of how these tools work.
Key Responsibilities
Editing & Post-Production:
- Deliver high-quality edits across film, TV, and branded content using Adobe Premiere Pro (and other tools as required).
- Lead editing of hybrid productions combining live-action, animation, and AI-generated visuals.
- Oversee video projects in both offline and online stages – soundmix, grade, export included – meeting the standards of client/broadcaster delivery tech spec sheets.
- Work with the design team to create engaging motion graphics.
AI Editing & Workflow Innovation:
- Use AI platforms (e.g. Runway, MidJourney, Sora, ElevenLabs) to drive, support and enhance storytelling.
- Prototype new post-production workflows using AI tools to increase speed, style, or scale.
Team Leadership & Line Management:
- Support and guide junior post and AI team members, overseeing their development and workflow.
- Take the lead on post-production tasks within your team—troubleshooting and ensuring delivery standards are met.
Cross-Team Collaboration:
- Work with producers, directors, creatives, and technologists to bring visual ideas to life.
- Interpret creative briefs and advise on technical or visual solutions during post.
Workflow & Delivery:
- Maintain organised post-production workflows with efficient versioning and file management.
- Ensure all content is delivered to spec and schedule across multiple formats and platforms.
What We’re Looking For
- 5–10 years of experience editing for film, TV, or branded content.
- Expert in Adobe Premiere Pro, with strong working proficiency in AI tools including Runway, Sora, GPT, Veo3, Kling, and ElevenLabs.
- Demonstrated experience creating AI-driven content, including short films—please include examples with your application.
- A strong visual eye and editorial instinct—able to cut with rhythm, nuance, and emotional impact.
- Experience managing post schedules and deliveries across different formats and platforms for multiple projects simultaneously.
- Confidence in supporting junior creatives, providing feedback, and overseeing output.
- Highly organised, proactive, and communicative—comfortable working across creative and technical teams.
- Genuinely excited by emerging technology and confident experimenting with new tools and workflows.
How to Apply:
Send your CV, a short paragraph about why you’re interested, and any links to relevant AI/Editing work (AI Short Film) to [email protected]. Please include the role title in the email subject line.
