Videographer

Whirks of Memphis, TN is seeking a full-time Videographer to join our amazing team! Do you have a passion for creating, crafting, and editing video? If you love storytelling and are passionate about connecting small businesses, we need to talk!

As the Videographer, you will produce video content for Whirks that aligns with our brand, mission, values, and goals. As our visual storyteller, you’ll be responsible for storyboarding, shooting footage, editing, managing creative assets, and maintaining all video equipment. You will work closely with our sales & marketing team. You must be empathetic toward the pain points of clients and prospects alike! The ultimate goal of your efforts is to increase client retention, drive engagement, generate qualified leads, and improve website traffic.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• 2+ years of experience with video production in a professional environment is required.
• A portfolio or Vimeo/YouTube channel with multiple professional videos is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Film, Graphic Design, Photography, Journalism, or Communications is strongly preferred.
• Proven experience working in a sales & marketing team.
• Proficiency with video editing software (Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro).
• Passion for helping small businesses succeed!
• Upbeat, confident, and friendly personality.
• Deep understanding of how to create content that draws an audience on major marketing channels.
• Lifelong learner! Able to identify new learning opportunities and the latest technologies.
• Project management skills to manage editorial schedules and deadlines.
