Job Description:

As a Video Editor / Motion Graphics Designer you will be an integral member of the CAF design & creative team. Reporting into the Senior Motion Graphics Designer, you will work across a mix of exciting brands, as well as the agency’s own digital content. The ideal candidate should be a master at After Effects and Premiere Pro, keep up to date with trends, be hungry to learn more and work well collaboratively and efficiently.

We have a hybrid working policy where you’ll work 3 days a week from our office in Lamberhurst, near Tunbridge Wells, or from our Rotterdam office – we’re open to either location.

Responsibilities

Core responsibilities will include:

  • Create and deliver video editing and motion graphics animations for a diverse array of projects including film, video and social assets
  • Collaborate with creatives, designers and the social media team to produce outstanding work
  • Adhere to brief guidelines in ways that still push creative boundaries and deliver new and innovative solutions
  • Using graphic design best practices to create dynamic and on brand content
  • Staying up to date on the latest graphic design techniques
  • Great time management skills and strong attention to detail.

Skills & Competencies

You will need to have the following core skills:

  • 2-3 years video editing and motion graphics experience
  • Premiere Pro and After Effects expertise
  • Experience with grading in Premiere Pro
  • Experience with Cinema4D, Redshift and Trapcode suite is a plus
  • Experience of working with servers and VPNs is an advantage
  • Flair when choosing music and sound effects
  • A creative thinker who is able to bring new ideas and creatively problem solve
  • A desire to learn new techniques and technology to advance your skills
  • A keen interest in social media and content creation
  • IT literate, with experience of MacBooks
  • Confident with the Adobe Suite, including Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team
  • Able to thrive in a fast paced and collaborative environment, working to tight deadlines with a flexible approach
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask, whilst producing excellent work with a good eye for detail
