JWH Group is seeking a creative and skilled Videographer / Photographer to join our dynamic marketing team and work across our brands Oswald Homes, Plunkett Homes, Residential Attitudes, The Rural Building Company and WA Country Builders.
This role will be pivotal in capturing the essence of our homes, the building process, and the lifestyle we offer through compelling visual content.
The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality videos, photographs, and engaging content specifically tailored for our social media platforms and marketing materials.
This role requires a strong understanding of visual storytelling, technical proficiency in videography and photography equipment and software. The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment is also essential.
We will consider part-time and full-time applicants for this role.
Responsibilities:

To create high-quality video and photographic content that effectively showcases our homes, building processes, and brands, for use across various marketing channels, with a strong emphasis on engaging content for social media platforms.

Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content strategies, social media strategies and campaign ideas

Maintain and organise all video and photo equipment, content library and digital assets.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies and software in video and photography.

Assist in the planning and execution of video and photoshoots, including location scouting and talent direction (if required).

Plan, film, and edit high-quality content showcasing completed homes, construction progress, client testimonials, company culture, team members and promotional campaigns.

Manage all aspects of video production, including lighting, sound recording, camera operation, and post-production editing (color correction, audio mixing, graphics, and text overlays).

Ensure all video content aligns with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.

Edit and retouch photographs to ensure they are visually appealing and meet brand standards.

Develop and produce engaging short-form video content (reels, TikToks, stories) and visually appealing static images optimised for various social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Tik Toks etc.).

Effectively communicate project timelines, progress, and any potential challenges.

Be able to work independently on location and as part of a team during larger shoots.
Qualifications and Experience:

A relevant degree, diploma, or certification in film production, photography, visual arts, or a related field.

Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various site locations.

2+ years of professional experience as a Videographer and Photographer, ideally within the real estate, construction, or related industry.

Proven experience in producing high-quality video and photographic content for social media platforms.

Desired experience in capturing interior and exterior spaces, construction progress, and lifestyle content.

Proficiency in operating professional video and photography equipment (cameras, lenses, lighting, audio recording).

Expertise in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and photo editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom).

Strong understanding of video and photography principles (composition, lighting, framing, color correction, audio mixing).

Knowledge of various video formats and specifications for different platforms (social media, website, presentations).
