Motion Graphics and VFX Generalist

Job Position(s): Motion Graphics and VFX Generalist

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Motion Graphics and VFX Generalist to support the AV team during the installation phase, where you’ll help prepare and finalize show visuals and motion graphics assets for multiple onboard venues.

You’ll be responsible for taking existing templates and tweaking them to fit show requirements, adjusting timing, colors, text, or layout to suit creative direction and technical specs. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and making real-time changes based on feedback from the AV and creative teams.

A background in 3D or animation is a strong plus, especially if you’re able to contribute additional elements that integrate into LED walls, projection, or media server environments.

Duration: July 2025 to December 2025 (6-months Contract]

Skills required:

– Strong understanding of After Effects

– Basic understanding of Nuke

– Basic understanding of Render Farm such as Deadline or similar

– Basic understanding of Davinci Resolve

Nice-to-Have Skills:

– Maya

– Vray

– Houdini

Responsibilities:

– Modify and adapt existing motion graphics templates for cruise ship shows.

– Ensure all visual assets are optimized for playback on various AV systems (LED walls, projectors, etc.).

– Collaborate with AV engineers and show directors to meet creative and technical requirements.

Additional Info:

– At least 5 years of experience as VFX and CGI artist in media, film, events, entertainment venue, shows, cruise etc.

– Must be comfortable living and working overseas and onboard cruise for extended periods.

– Flexible schedule, including evenings and holidays.
