Job Position(s): Federal Work Study – Art Gallery Photographer/Videographer Intern Classification Title:STU AST – FEDERAL COMMUNITY SERVICE
Job Description:The Gainesville Fine Arts Association, Inc. (GFAA) is a member based non-profit arts organization that has a gallery on south main street. In addition to monthly art exhibitions, GFAA hosts workshops, events and more. This position is for someone passionate about photography and skilled in photography and videography for the purpose of documenting exhibitions and events. Must have your own equipment.Attend and take photographs and videos and deliver digital files. Interact with gallery patrons and work with gallery staff.
Expected Salary:$13.00/HR
Minimum Requirements:This is a Federal Work Study position, no exceptions. Must provide proof of work study in application.We are looking for someone who can stay on through the summer. CANDIDATE MUST BE PLANNING ON TAKING CLASSES AND ELIGIBLE FOR WORK STUDY DURING THE UPCOMING SUMMER SEMESTER.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in photography and videography. Experience with video editing is a plus.Looking for creative and self-motivated students with strong customer service skills and a willingness to work collaboratively with GFAA staff, volunteers, program participants and the public.
