We are currently seeking a talented Senior Social Media Video Editor with expertise in After Effects to join our dynamic team. The Video Editor will play a key role in curating, editing, and optimizing video content tailored for social media platforms. This individual will be responsible for shaping high-quality, engaging content that aligns with both the client’s and the agency’s creative vision.
Responsibilities:
- Edit and produce engaging video content optimized for various social media platforms.
- Utilize After Effects to create motion graphics, animated text, and visual effects to enhance content.
- Follow creative briefs and brand guidelines to maintain consistency across different campaigns.
- Source and integrate sound effects, music, and voice-overs to elevate video quality.
- Edit videos for different formats, ensuring high-quality output across platforms (vertical, square, widescreen, etc.).
- Optimize video content for engagement, including applying platform-specific best practices.
- Apply corrections to lighting, color, and any technical inconsistencies in footage.
- Work closely with the social media, content, and creative teams to align with campaign objectives.
- Stay up to date with social media trends, ensuring video content is innovative and engaging.
- Review all footage and finalize deliverables before submission.
Requirements:
- 4-5+ years of experience as a Video Editor, specializing in social media content.
- Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects (Photoshop and Illustrator are a plus).
- Experience creating motion graphics, animated text, and visual effects.
- Strong understanding of social media video trends, formats, and best practices.
- Ability to tell stories visually through creative editing techniques.
- Strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to source music, sound effects, and stock footage from various online libraries.
- Excellent attention to detail and troubleshooting abilities.
- Self-motivated, capable of working independently while meeting deadlines.
Languages:
- Spanish (mandatory)
- English (highly recommended)
- Any other language is a plus.
