*Introduction:*We are on the lookout for a Project Manager to join our awesome team in our Vancouver Branch! We work on all types of events imaginable and as the Project Manager you will be responsible for the planning and on-site execution of assigned productions in the lower mainland, ensuring each event is delivered to the clients full expectations. You will proactively meet with clients to determine event needs, quote based on event requirements, provide hands-on delivery and execution of events, and manage a team of technicians to ensure the show is executed to the highest standard.*What we do:*SW Event Technology is a leading full scale event services company with offices across Canada, and our winning team of industry experts brings our client’s dream events to life. We provide our expert services to the nation?s most exciting live, virtual and hybrid events and we deliver everything from major festivals, concerts, sporting events to high profile corporate and government events and tradeshows. We deliver events far and wide across Canada and the USA and the project manager is a key player in our event delivery.*What you will have the opportunity to do:**Plan the event project:** Actively liaise with clients, venues, and internal team members* Create quotes, floorplans, event folders, relevant show documents and offer product/service solutions as needed to communicate with clients and execute events.* Collaborate with the Exhibitor Services team for appropriate forms and online store needs for show.* Determine whether specific permitting / out of province licensing is required for event delivery, obtain as necessary or work with appropriate 3rd parties.* Manage cross rentals as needed (forklifts, commercial and passenger vehicles, third party labour companies and suppliers, etc.)* Create a detailed work plan ensuring resources availability and allocation*Staff the project** Determine staffing needs in coordination with labour manager* Assess transportation plans for staff and equipment, book flights / hotels according to company policy* Coordinate and Manage event team & third party labour on-site during set-up and tear down* Supervise work quality and performance on-site* Answer questions from Technicians* Provide training to technicians in-house and on-site as necessary*Control the project** Ensure all gear is loaded and accounted for on load in/out and supervise pack of truck* Keep labour on track, monitoring work hours and managing timelines* Successfully manage relationship with the client* On-site quality control* On-site risk management* Record all client related changes and process billing accordingly* Monitor & manage event costs*Financial Management of Project** Prepare and document scope of work in collaboration with sales/general manager for client review* Manage event budget as provided and ensure adherence to company requirement to meet financial targets for profit on each project assigned* Anticipate event costs and communicate additions or changes to scope of work to sales/general manager to ensure changes are billed accordinaly in advance* Record all event costs (including third party billings) and include in job costings and billing schedules provided to the client at the time of billing* Communicate and document provisions of service (including third party costs) and execution related costs to the client and ensure applicable markups are applied as directed by sales/general manager* Document third party costs and complete individual purchase orders and ensure approved by GM prior to execution of event*Evaluate the project and report** Complete post event reporting and filing* Client follow-up post event* Finalize invoicing and billing* Support other branches and divisions through management of specific events or overseeing particular teams and tasks on larger scale events as needed* Perform other duties as assigned and deemed necessary*The person we hav
