We have partnered with a restoration company located in Brandon, Manitoba that provides emergency restoration services to residential and commercial buildings to find a new *Project Manager* to add to their growing team! This role involves direct interaction with the company?s Claims Department, Insurance Adjusters, and Brokers, ensuring all claims are processed in compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the insurance claims process, project cycle times, and construction project management.*Key Responsibilities** Accepting claims from the company Claims Department, direct from the Insurance Adjuster and/or Insurance Broker and providing an acknowledgement of the Claim via email or Xactimate.* Contacting the property owner within (SLA) of Insurance Company Compliance & Protocol Standards to acknowledge their acceptance of claim and arrange a meeting to assess the property.* Strong understanding of the insurance claims process and project cycle times.* Creating specs for the Insurance Adjuster approval of damaged property area(s) through assessing damages, accurately measuring, and sketching the area, taking accurate photos for the internal database, gathering and organizing information effectively.* Creating an estimate for the file based on the approved spec?s.* Assigning the coordination of the file to the project coordinator once the estimate has been approved and ?go-ahead? has been given.* Leading and overseeing the Site Supervisor position, providing the direction of the project, and ensuring the expectations and standards for completion are met.* Responding to all QA and RWE requests in a timely manner.* Working with and leading the Project Coordinator to review the budgets for all files.* Overseeing the site and ensuring production safety standards are met by all.*Required Skills and Experience**Technical & Functional ** Demonstrated a genuine interest to further education and training in construction, exhibiting depth and complexity in the field, integrating the most current technological developments for construction principals, techniques, and products.* Consistently delivers high quality project documentation, financial estimates with minimal errors and resubmission.* Leads by example by ensuring employees are acting in accordance with current Safety Rules & Regulations, WH&S and COR.*Customer Focus (Internal & External) ** Committed to meeting the needs of both internal and external customers.* Builds and maintains strong relationships through new and existing business initiatives.*Communication** Interacts professionally and effectively inside and outside of the organization.* Frequently communicates the project status, expectations and is readily available to report to clients, internal teams, and management.* Demonstrates strong written and oral communication skills including the ability to write and present complete reports.* Reports input of bid opportunities through the claims management office.*Planning** Accurately estimates job tasks and project requirements, maintaining a sense of urgency.* Establishes and communicates project objectives effectively.* Creates project schedules and assigns tasks to ensure project timelines are met.* Proactive approach to anticipate and adjust for project problems, scope creep, risk mitigation, and roadblocks.* Consistently measures performance against the project goals and evaluates results for lessons learned for future improvement.* Forms joint ventures and strategic alliances to gain competitiveness in new construction and insurance technologies.*Problem Solving** Demonstrates the ability to gather critical information, identify root causes and develop effective solutions through persistence and tenacity to overcome obstacles.* Consistently looks beyond the obvious for value added sources and doesn?t stop at the first answer.*Leadership** Places the success of the team ab
