Video Editor 

  [Candidates whoare based or can work within Eastern or GMT time zones will be preferred]   About the Role:  We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team and create engaging, high-quality video content for various platforms. You will collaborate closely with our marketing, product, and creative teams to bring stories to life that connect educators, parents, and the world with MarcoPolo Learning. The ideal candidate has a strong sense of storytelling, with the ability to craft compelling narratives that captivate and inspire audiences. Your expertise in pacing, emotion, and visual flow will help shape impactful content that resonates with our young viewers. What You’ll Do:  Edit video footage to create high-quality, engaging content aligned with MarcoPolo Learning’s brand. Enhance video quality through color correction, sound design, and motion graphics. Adapt videos for various platforms, ensuring proper formatting and technical specs. Collaborate with marketing and design teams to maintain brand consistency. Work with raw footage, B-roll, animation, and graphics to craft compelling visual stories. Organize and manage digital video assets efficiently. Optimize workflow and introduce innovative editing techniques. Support basic videography tasks as needed. Work with the Line Producer to ensure projects meet deadlines and budgets. Explore new and innovative approaches to storytelling, contributing creative ideas to enhance MarcoPolo’s video content. Your Skills and Experience:  3+ years of professional experience in video editing and production (in-house or agency). Proficiency in video editing software: Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro  Strong storytelling skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and engaging content. Experience with motion graphics, visual effects, or animation is a plus. Keen eye for cinematography, including lighting, composition, and shot selection. Experience in educational or children’s media is preferred, with a strong understanding of age-appropriate content. Strong project management skills, with the ability to balance creativity and deadlines. Collaborative mindset, working closely with the Line Producer, marketing, and design teams. Passion for children’s media and educational storytelling. Excellent communication and teamwork skills to coordinate effectively across departments. Bachelor’s degree in Film, Video Production, Media, or a related field is preferred but not required.
