The Sensory is a Melbourne-based production company specialising in video content with a storytelling focus.

We work across various industries, with a strong presence in the lifestyle sector and a proven track record in the property industry. In addition to video, we also offer social media content, animation, and photography services.

Responsibilities:

  • Edit high-quality video into compelling visual stories that meet the brief, conform to branding guidelines, and are created to industry and technical standards.
  • Plan and perform video post-production tasks which include reviewing footage, making editorial decisions, video transcoding, rough cuts, audio adjustment, and colour grading.
  • Compress video projects for output; capture and encode media as appropriate, in a variety of formats.
  • Publish, organise, and optimise media for websites such as Vimeo, YouTube, and Instagram.
  • Manage efficient workflow systems whilst maintaining details and records for cataloging, including maintaining video stock libraries.

 

Requirements: 

  • At least 1 year of editing experience.
  • Fluent in Adobe Premiere Pro and the Adobe Creative Cloud family of applications.
  • Experience in Adobe After Effects or DaVinci Resolve is a plus.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and keep a positive attitude while under pressure.
  • Experience managing video projects without direct supervision, but capable of working within a team setting too.
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong eye for detail.
  • The ability to self-manage priorities, as well as plan and deliver multiple tasks on time.
