We are a growing organization and currently looking for a __*Project Manager (Procurement) *__to join our winning team and help lead our business grow and improve._*Job Summary Statement:*This role is responsible for for planning, executing, and delivering projects on-time, within budget and within scope, ensuring successful outcomes by managing resources, risks, and stakeholders effectively in compliance with company policies and procedures and compliance with regulatory requirements.*Essential Functions & Responsibilities:** Identify potential projects and assist in the development of specifications and requirements for products and services the organization needs based on inputs from internal and external stakeholders.* Develop and execute procurement strategies, manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts and administer purchase orders.* Forecast project budgets and assist a financial team to generate annual budgets as well as track costs and expenses.* Manage the bidding process for materials and services during early stages of project planning including acting as gatekeeper to different companies for Request for Quotations (RFQs) and/or for proposals relevant to project planning and execution activities.* Conduct and follow-up on contract negotiations and coordinate functions such as Legal, Finance, Production, Facilities, Maintenance, Customer Service and H&S during proposal preparation and follow-up.* Lead the contract approval process, change order and invoice approval processes.* Administrate complex contracts, providing directions to internal and external groups.* Identify project priorities, create / manage a list and priorities of the highest impact.* Track and communicate the status of all project efforts throughout the organization with focus on procurement planning and execution.* Update senior management / stakeholders on progress against plan on a regular basis and escalate issues as required.* Develop, educate team members and ensure systematic tool usage and application for all phases of project management, i.e. design, approval, procurement, execution, communication, etc.* Demonstrate meaningful and measurable results in improved cycle time for projects and create strategies to increase supply chain efficiency.*Experience, Skills & Competencies:** Minimum 5 years of experience in Warehouse and Logistics business.* Prior experience in project / product management roles.* Training and experience in construction projects.* Training in facilitating meetings, discussions, and workshops.* Training and experience in leadership roles.* Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).* Strong discipline to adhere to established/proven processes.* Outstanding ability to multi-task managing several workstreams a day every day.* Excellent cross-group collaboration, communication, and partnership competencies.* High adaptability with intellectual curiosity and strong attention to detail.* Demonstrates an ability to drive process improvement and effectiveness through simplification and holistic, end-to-end optimization* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and apply different approaches to training.* Must be a self-starter with excellent analytical and organizational skills* Demonstrates a positive attitude with a problem-solving mindset and pursues self-education on the go._*Brimich is committed to diversity and inclusivity in our employment practices.
