We’re looking for a Video Editor who can film and produce compelling content that will drive conversations around the news of the day as well as bigger-picture issues.You will be offered the following shift:Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM ET – 5:00 PM ETA SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIESProduce and edit original videos from pitch to publish for FoxNews.com & FoxBusiness.comAssign and edit video projects when neededCreate thumbnails and graphics to illustrate videos and homepage contentField produce content and coordinate production with technical staffEnsure editorial standards are upheld, demands from across company platforms are addressedWHAT YOU WILL NEEDA Bachelor’s degree in journalism or a related field of study preferred, or equivalent experience3+ years of experience in news, video editingStrong command of Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Illustrator preferredStrong knowledge of and passion for news, politics, and pop cultureExperience using content management systems and video editing systemsFamiliarity with AP styleStrong SEO and social media skillsStrong communication and organizational skillsAbility to pivot between breaking news stories and in-depth projects with longer deadlinesAbility/flexibility to work mornings, evenings, or weekends as requiredAbility to be a self-starter with strong news judgment for a digital audience#LI-DNIWe are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, gender identity, disability, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law. We will consider for employment qualified applicants with criminal histories consistent with applicable law.Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $67,000.00-91,000.00 annually for high cost labour markets such as but not limited to New York City and Los Angeles, $55,800.00-75,800.00 annually for all other US locations. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
