Job description
Edit video content for social media, websites, and other audio / visual platforms, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and project
Create and integrate motion graphics, transitions, and special effects as needed.
Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm, storyboard, and develop engaging video concepts.
Assist in on-site video shoots, including setup, lighting, and camera operation when necessary.
Ensure audio and visual elements meet high-quality standards and are synchronized.
Perform quality checks on final exports to ensure accuracy and professionalism.
Stay up to date with industry trends and recommend new tools or techniques to enhance production quality

1-2 years of experience in video editing or production (2-3 years preferred).
Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
Experience with motion graphics and special effects tools (e.g., After Effects).
Familiarity with social media platforms and the types of video content that perform well on each.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Detail-oriented and efficient, with a focus on meeting deadlines.
Basic understanding of audio editing and color correction is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in film, Media Production, Communications, or a related field is preferred but not required.

POSITION SUMMARY : We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Video Production Assistant to support the creation of compelling video content. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in video editing, media management, and production techniques, as well as a creative eye for visual and special effects. This role is a great fit for a highly organized and communicative individual who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
The Video Production Assistant is expected to work between 40 – 50 hours weekly, with an average 5-day work week. Schedules are tentative and hours expected can be dependent on business levels, special events, holidays, etc.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in all stages of video production, from pre-production to final delivery.
- Manage media assets, including organizing and archiving footage, maintaining file naming conventions, and ensuring easy access for the
team.
