Overview
We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling through visual media and delivering polished final work. They possess strong technical skills in video editing software and have a background or experience in graphic design. This role involves collaborating with various departments to produce high-quality video content that aligns with our client’s vision and goals. Our idea candidate can take a project brief and raw footage and creatively bring a project to life with style. Responsibilities

  • Edit raw video footage into polished final products that meet project specifications.
  • Manage time and work within deadlines to produce quality results.
  • Collaborate with directors, producers, and other team members to understand project goals and requirements.
  • Utilize software such as Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, Audition and Blender to create engaging video content.
  • Final product delivery with keen attention to color grading uniformity and proper audio mixing technique.
  • Incorporate graphics, animations, and sound effects to enhance the overall production quality.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
  • Perform audio mixing to ensure the highest quality output.
  • Understanding of a Dropbox and cloud-based workflows.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and emerging technologies in videography and editing.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in video editing software including Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effect and Audition.
  • Proficiency in design platforms including Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop to create assets for animation and other design materials.
  • Strong understanding of videography principles and techniques.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Has good taste and style when it comes to editing – good taste in the music a piece needs to maintain audience engagement and enhance the client‘s brand.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively convey ideas and feedback.
  • A portfolio showcasing previous video editing work is required for consideration.
  • Having a design/animation portfolio is a plus but not mandatory.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $20.00 – $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
