Position: Full-Time Videographer and Video Editor
Job Summary:
We are seeking a full-time on-site Videographer and Video Editor proficient in editing and assembling recorded material. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inputting music, dialogues, graphics, and effects, creating rough cuts and final cuts in logical sequencing, and ensuring smooth running of video projects. This role involves continuously discovering and implementing new editing technologies and industry best practices to maximize efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
– Edit and assemble recorded footage into finished projects that match the vision of the director and are suitable for broadcasting.
– Input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects to enhance video content.
– Create rough and final cuts, ensuring logical sequencing and smooth running of video projects.
– Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry best practices to maximize efficiency and creativity.
– Collaborate closely with the creative team to develop and execute video concepts.
– Manage and oversee all technical aspects of video recording and editing.
– Review and make necessary adjustments to ensure the highest quality of video output.
– Maintain an organized library of video assets for easy retrieval and reuse.
Requirements:
– Proven work experience as a Videographer and Video Editor.
– Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g., Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere).
– A strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in video editing.
– Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation, and continuity.
– Familiarity with special effects, motion graphics, and photography.
– Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Adobe Creative Suite, and other post-production techniques.
– Strong understanding of film production and video editing principles.
– Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
– Creative mindset and passion for video editing.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Film Studies, Cinematography, or related field is preferred. degree is not required for this position.
– Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with the team.
– Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
– High level of self-motivation and ability to work independently.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.45 – $24.28 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
