*Reports to: *Director, Customer Experience*Schedule:* Monday-Friday, 8:30AM – 5:00PM*Who are you?*The Project Manager is the primary contact-person responsible for collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects in Stone Tile?s Western Canada region are delivered on time, within budget, and according to specifications.To achieve these important goals, the Project Manager will manage large contractor clients in Western Canada and work with other stakeholders to define project requirements, acquire project resources, negotiate the cost of goods sold, and will oversee the project for end to end. Efficient delivery of project deliverables, clear communication of expectations, and upward reporting to Senior Management are critical tasks that must be performed throughout each project?s lifecycle. A project manager must view each job as if it was their own.*What will you do?*The Project Manager will liaise with clients on all facets of the project upon receipt of a purchase order including, but not limited to:· Entering the sales order into P21· Ensuring all aspects of the sales order are entered correctly including items, quantities, prices and required dates.· Ensuring the sales order is signed off on customer with specific acknowledgment to special order items, lead times, etc.· Ensuring that on large projects (over $75,000), these projects are reviewed with Supply Chain and Finance to identify and manage any risks.· Following up on all material that needs to be ordered from factory for specific projects to ensure that materials arrive on schedule.· Ensuring that appropriate shipping schedules from factory are arranged to ensure that inventory is properly spaced out for draw orders.· Prepare orders and pick tickets for project draws and shipping.· Act as key/primary contact for contractor / clients to raise any issues concerns such as stock checks, quality, lead times, etc. and then direct these issues to the appropriate internal resource.· Ensure order-based transfers are entered appropriately to draw material from other Stone Tile locations as required.· Performs other duties as required*What type of experience and skills do you have?*· Minimum 5 years direct work experience in project management or a related field.· Able to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of the organization.· Excellent customer service skills.· Self-motivated with an excellent ability to work under pressure while handling multiple tasks at the same time.· Excellent organizational skills, time management and strong attention to detail.· Proactive, take-charge attitude in resolving problems with creative solutions.· Good sense of judgment in balancing customer interests with company policy.· Demonstrated success in project delivery and execution of project management methods.· P21 ERP· Highly effective negotiation and conflict resolution skills.· Able to successfully prioritize tasks and projects.· High level of critical and logical thinking, analysis, and/or reasoning to identify underlying principles, reasons, or facts.· Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently.· Computer literate, including effective working skills of MS Word, Excel and e-mail.*Core Competencies ** Excellent communication skills, written and oral.* Customer focus* Impeccable organizational skills* Adaptability and flexibility* Attention to detail and patience.* Teamwork* Accountability and dependability*Why Join Stone Tile?*Stone Tile was founded with a strong vision for high-end quality and design across the stone and tile industry.
