Job Description: We are seeking a talented and versatile Video Editor and Live Show Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating compelling video content, writing scripts, and assisting in the production of live shows. This role requires a creative mind, strong technical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Edit and produce high-quality video content for various platforms, ensuring it aligns with our brand and engages our audience.
- Write scripts for videos and live shows, ensuring clear and captivating storytelling.
- Assist in the setup, operation, and breakdown of equipment during live shows, including cameras, switchers, and audio boards.
- Collaborate with the production team to brainstorm and execute creative concepts for new content and live shows.
- Participate in live show production, managing on-screen content, camera angles, and transitions.
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and troubleshoot technical issues as they arise.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in video production, editing software, and live show technology.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in video editing, with proficiency in software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
- Strong scriptwriting skills, with the ability to craft engaging and concise scripts.
- Experience in live show production, including familiarity with control room equipment such as cameras, switchers, and audio boards.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A degree in Media Production, Broadcasting, Film, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 – $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
