COMPLETE weddings + events is looking for Wedding Videographers in the Austin area!

We are looking for shooters who know how to tell a story by creating dynamic content that shows purposeful use in the visual narrative of a couple’s biggest day! We handle all of the booking and editing, so you can focus on interacting with our clients and capturing everything perfectly. We aim to have a consistent style across all of our video products and provide guidance and continued feedback on how to shoot for our product brand.

General Requirements

All of our Videographers are contractors who we usually schedule around 2-4 months prior to the date of the shoot. We love to have a team of reliable videographers who we help fill in their open dates and many shoot more for Complete than they do otherwise.

This person reports directly to the Media Manager underneath the Owners guidance. They must be well groomed, friendly and able to work well with other vendors in a professional manner. They must be personable and willing to follow client’s instructions.

This individual must attend basic training/vetting, become familiar with and have a strong understanding of COMPLETE’S goals for its clients. This individual must read and understand all aspects of the Employee Manuals, shot lists & playbook, and maintain a quality performance.

Contracts for all weddings are typically 4-8 hours with opportunity for tips and overtime. We occasionally book non-wedding shoot but they are not the majority of our business at this time. We have a pay scale and review every quarter for advancement.

Applicant Requirements:

-Must own DSLR camera or similar (Full Frame sensor is a MAJOR plus. Required to own 2+ to perform as a primary 1st shooter at weddings)
[4K capable is preferred and will be prioritized]

-Must own fluid head tripod. (2+ Preferred)

-Stabilizer/Gimbal is a plus but not necessary

-Audio Zoom H1 Handy Portable Digital Recorder or Omni-Directional Lavaliere Microphone (x2)
(Preferred Lavalier –> Tascam DR-10L or similar model from other brand)
(Ambient Microphone preference –> Zoom H1 or similar model from other brand)

-Strong sense of in-camera editing skills (we handle post but need our shooters educated on how to capture the shots properly)

-Extreme attention to detail and desire to produce high-quality experiences and footage for our clients

-Communicates proactively with clients, other shooters and direct reports (Media Manager for post and Operations/General Manager for booking and day-of logistics)

-Ensure prompt arrival for all events, including completing the check-in process through a system that we will provide you access to

Pay: $40.00 – $80.00 per hour
