Full job description

Job Responsibilities

  • Elevate and differentiate the brand through world-class storytelling by creating assets and editing stories that promote equipment, share customer stories, and enhance the brand legacy.
  • Work across a variety of video styles and formats, from short-form social content to long-form editorial productions.
  • Collaborate closely with internal clients, stakeholders, and external agency partners throughout the editing process.
  • Curate, cut down, and catalog clips for an internal stock video library when not working on client projects.
  • Occasionally assist with shoots in-studio and in-field, including running grip and operating video equipment.

Major Duties

  • Editing video (70% of the time).
  • Assisting video shoots in-studio and in-field (20% of the time).
  • Studio support (10% of the time).

Must-Have Skills

  • 5–7 years of video editing experience.
  • Expert working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop or Illustrator).
  • Experience with professional cinema camera equipment from manufacturers such as Sony, Canon, RED.

Additional Skills

  • Strong communication and project management skills.
  • Expertise in post-production workflow, file management, video file formats, codecs, and transcoding.
  • Basic knowledge of video lighting, audio, and general production equipment.
  • Proficiency in Mac OS and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Skilled in basic audio editing to achieve high-quality sound.
  • Physically capable of:
  • Navigating uneven/rough terrain while carrying gear.
  • Working in various weather conditions (very cold to very hot).
  • Lifting and carrying gear weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Thrive in fast-paced environments.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
  • Self-starter, capable of working independently while also following directions to deliver content that captures the intended story or purpose.

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Proven experience executing a range of video projects, from promotional videos and social activations to larger commercial edits.
  • Competency in motion graphics and 2D/3D animation.
  • Experience or familiarity with heavy equipment (ability to operate is a plus).
  • Experience shooting in industries such as agriculture, construction, forestry, or turf.

Education

Four-year University Degree (or equivalent work experience) in a related field — editing, motion graphics, videography.

Pay: $27.00 per hour
