In addition to its own success, DriveTribe is now one of the leading Automotive Marketing and Video Productions Agencies in the UK. Offering clients best in class video and marketing solutions, whilst also uniquely being able to offer an extensive, targeted distribution platform.

Job description

DriveTribe is looking for a Junior Video Editor to join our Creative team. As a Junior Video Editor, you will be responsible for creating and managing content across our social media, Fast TV and YouTube channels.

Day to day you will be editing video content for all company channels. In addition to working on projects for the creative team, you will assist the marketing team with any of their video requirements. As such, content to be edited will include both long and short form for everything from mobile to television sets.

We are looking for someone with the right attitude and drive to develop. An interest in automotive will certainly be useful! While we don’t have any educational requirements, ideally you will have some experience of working within the automotive video space.

This is a very demanding but exciting role, one that offers lots of amazing opportunities but requires an incredible work ethic. If this sounds like something you would thrive in, we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  • Edit content for our social media channels
  • Edit content for YouTube, Fast TV, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, TikTok videos based on trends
  • Repurpose content and pull content together from our Archive of footage
  • Cut down feature videos to publish on Facebook
  • Assist the team on shoots when required
  • Assist with Thumbnail creation

Requirements:

  • An enthusiasm for creating quality content
  • A genuine interest in all things automotive
  • A great knowledge and understanding of all social media platforms
  • A working knowledge of the Adobe Suite, specifically Premiere and Photoshop
  • A working knowledge of DaVinci Resolve
  • A basic understanding of Video Cameras and their operation
  • A keen working ethic and attention to detail
  • Full UK Driving license

On offer:

  • Ongoing development in an exciting industry
  • Unique opportunities working with some high profile personalities in the automotive space
  • 24 days holiday + Bank holidays per year
  • Company Pension
  • Death in service cover
  • Private medical cover (after passing probation)

This role will be based at our office in Radstock on the outskirts of Bath. We’re looking for someone who is able to easily commute to the office, which does have ample on site parking. While we carry out shoots all over the UK and abroad, we do require someone based locally. Core hours are assumed as Mon-Fri 9-5:30, however due to the nature of our work, it’s not uncommon for occasional evening and weekend work in order to get the job done. There is also often a lot of time away required for shoots.

We are looking for someone extremely ambitious and driven who has willingness to learn and progress in this area. This is an entry level role, and we are committed to giving the right person the development they need to excel in this space and become a critical part of the team.

Due to the number of applicants, it is not always possible to get back to everyone individually so if you haven’t heard back in 14 days, we are sorry to inform your application has not been successful. Likewise, due to the number of applicants, I urge you to put a bit of effort in to your application. We will not consider any applications without a supporting CV and Cover Letter. If you have a current showreel or any example work, let us see it!
