Empower change by utilizing your professional expertise to ensure that fewer youths have to face challenges like skipped meals, gun violence, and poverty. At Season to Soar, we are committed to equipping underserved youth with the support they need to overcome these circumstances.

As an unpaid, volunteer Photographer & Videographer in the Marketing Committee, you will play a pivotal role in our diverse network of marketing professionals, contributing your skills to create impactful visual content that reaches our communities and engages donors. This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain valuable volunteering experience. Volunteers must have access to their own photo/video equipment and post-processing software.

Responsibilities:

● Capture impactful imagery during program activities and events.

● Edit photography to support approximately 3 social media posts per week

● Edit video files to create compelling stories for social and web inclusion.

● Build visual content available on our WordPress website.

● Repurpose media content for various channels.

  • Partner with the Marketing Chairperson with ideas and be able to ensure deadlines are met with accuracy.

Time Commitment:

Estimated commitment of 2 hours per week executing projects outside of committee meetings. This position has a term length of 1 year.

Qualifications:

● Passion for Season to Soar’s mission and commitment to making a difference in underserved communities.

● 1-2+ years of experience in event photography and video recording/editing. Student efforts and a strong portfolio are accepted in lieu of experience.

● Knowledge of editing and resizing images.

● A strong sense of visual storytelling to engage audiences and showcase impact.

● Ability to receive feedback from various perspectives to create impactful imagery and videos.

● Organized, self-starter with the ability to deliver projects on time with accuracy and attention to detail.

● Time management skills to handle various projects with different deadlines.

  • Must be willing to provide own equipment.

Additional Requirements

An acceptable general background check to include a local and state criminal history check

Physical Requirements

Tasks may involve extended periods of time at keyboard or workstation.

Sensory Requirements

Some tasks require the ability to perceive and discriminate sounds and visual cues or signals

Some tasks require the ability to communicate orally

Environmental Exposures

Essential functions are regularly performed without exposure to adverse environmental conditions.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $0.01 – $0.02 per hour

Expected hours: 2 – 5 per week
