Video Editor
We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our marketing team. This role focuses exclusively on editing high-quality product photos and videos in a studio environment. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in photo and video editing, with experience in producing and editing social media content such as reels, promotional videos, and product videos. This is an in-house position located in Muskegon, MI, with a focus on studio-based work only. Photo/Video Editor Responsibilities:
- Edit high-quality product photography and video content for use across marketing channels, including websites, e-commerce platforms, social media, and promotional campaigns.
- Produce and edit social media videos including reels, ads, and promotional clips to engage and grow our digital audience.
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop compelling visual content that aligns with brand messaging and marketing goals.
- Edit video footage, including trimming, color correction, sound editing, and adding motion graphics or text overlays as needed.
- Organize and maintain an efficient digital asset management system for all photos and videos.
- Edit product videos that highlight key features and benefits for online product listings, marketing emails, and promotional materials.
- Create engaging, platform-specific content for social media channels like Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
- Review raw footage and select the best clips for editing and production.
- Ensure consistency with brand aesthetics and guidelines across all projects.
- Work within established deadlines and prioritize tasks to meet project timelines.
Photo/Video Editor Requirements:
- In-studio experience is a must: Prior experience working in a controlled studio environment for photo and video.
- Proven experience in photo and video editing (2+ years preferred).
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc.).
- Solid understanding of social media video trends, Instagram Reels, TikTok videos, and other short-form content formats.
- Strong experience editing promotional videos and product videos for online platforms.
- Experience producing and editing content for e-commerce websites and social media channels.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently while maintaining a high level of detail and quality.
- Understanding of various digital formats, aspect ratios, and resolutions for different platforms.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent attention to detail and a creative eye for composition, lighting, and storytelling.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with the marketing team to meet project objectives.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of motion graphics and VFX is a plus.
- Experience with video shooting (in-studio) is required.
- Familiarity with digital marketing strategies and how to create content that drives engagement.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 – $55,000.00 per year
