Blue Collar Media Group is a cutting-edge company that specializes in branding blue collar businesses through powerful and captivating videos. We are seeking a talented and versatile individual to join our video production company as a Videographer and Video Editor. In this dual role, you will be responsible for capturing high-quality video footage as well as creatively editing content to produce exceptional videos made for TV, social media, etc. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills in both videography and video editing, collaborating with a dynamic team to create captivating visual experiences for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Videography:

  • Utilize your keen eye for composition, lighting, and framing to capture engaging video content.
  • Operate and maintain professional-grade cameras, equipment, and gear.
  • Conduct on-location shoots, ensuring high-quality footage that aligns with the project’s objectives.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to create and plan video concepts.

Video Editing:

  • Edit raw footage into compelling videos that convey the desired message and aesthetics.
  • Seamlessly integrate visual elements, sound, and graphics to enhance the final product.
  • Employ advanced editing techniques to ensure the highest standard of video quality.
  • Work closely with the creative team and clients to understand project requirements and provide timely deliverables.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Videographer and Video Editor, showcasing a diverse portfolio of work.
  • Proficiency in using industry-standard video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Davinci, etc.).
  • Expertise in operating professional video cameras (Sony preferred), lenses, lighting, and audio equipment.
  • Strong understanding of videography principles, storytelling, and visual aesthetics.
  • Ability to adapt creatively to different project styles and genres.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team environment.
  • High attention to detail and ability to deliver projects on time with exceptional quality.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year

Benefits:

  • Paid time off

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Experience:

  • Filming: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Video Editing: 1 year (Required)

Willingness to travel:

  • 25% (Required)
