Photography/Videographer/Animal Care Specialist – First shift

Euro Goldendoodles breeds & trains high-quality Goldendoodles in Mount Holly, NC.

This is a hybrid position. We are looking to hire a person who can do both Animal Care and photography/videography.

We are hiring a first shift position.

Shifts with be either 8 AM – 4PM or 9AM-5PM- Must be available for either shifts

This schedule is subject to change as needed. You must be able to be flexible with your hours. Because these are live animals, holidays are not guaranteed off since their care is our top priority.

The job includes but not limited to the following:

• Cleaning kennels (sweeping, mopping, wiping down areas)
• Washing puppies & adult dogs
• Feeding puppies & adult dogs
• Running puppy playgroups
• Laundry
• Caring for pups in need (administering medicine)
• Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds

Yes, you do get the opportunity to work with the most beautiful pups on the planet. BUT this is a hard job. This is physical. No matter how much you love puppies, you have to love cleaning & caring for them more

If you are looking to be playing with pups all the time then you are looking at the wrong job.

PHOTOGRAPHER/VIDEOGRAPHER job Qualifications

• Proficient in photography, photo editing, and photo manipulation
• Experience with Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Premiere
• Skilled in color management and post-production techniques
• Knowledge of video production, filming, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Familiarity videography, and social media management
• Ability to work with animals

We are looking for a videographer and photographer to take continual videos and pictures of our puppies, our dogs for our program along with running our social media content. We only want quality and need to see consistent quality work done.

• Weekly update videos for our clients. Shooting videos, editing and uploading videos.
• Weekly pictures of our puppies
• Videos for our puppies
• Directing
• Take home videos
• Content creating for social media

We can provide most if not all the video, photography and lighting equipment. You can use your own but it’s not necessary. We own very high quality equipment now and will purchase more if needed as recommended.

Additional qualities needed are as follows:

HARD Worker– we want someone that works fast and is efficient. They figure out the best way and quickest way to get things done without being micromanaged or compromising cleanliness.

GREAT Attitude– “You are hired for your skills but fired for your attitude.”

ABILITY to Follow Instructions– you will continually be given instructions on caring for sick pups, different methods of cleaning, etc… and you need to follow through without someone continually asking

DEPENDABILITY-not calling into work, consistency all produce dependability.

TRAINABILITY-Can you take correction well?

FLEXIBILITY & ADAPTABLE– No one day is going to be exactly the same. You must have a flexible spirit that can “role with the punches.” If change rattles you then you will not be happy working here.

We are looking to hire immediately. Pay starts at $17-hr after 90 days eligible for pay increase up to $18-hr .
