Montgomery Industrial Service is looking for a dynamic and forward thinking Project Manager, based out of our Wingham Ontario location. The Project Manager will be responsible for working with a variety of clients, ensuring the successful completion of all given jobs from initiation to close by meeting all deliverables on schedule and within budget. The primary duties are to supervise staff involved in the project, work collaboratively with all stakeholders, and oversee the scheduling and administration of contracts and contractual obligations relating to subcontractors, contract changes, order changes, drawings, material requisitions, budget monitoring, organization, and reporting.KEY STAKEHOLDER RELATIONSHIPS* Owner?s Representation* Company Managers* Site Employees* Tool, Purchasing, and Estimating GroupsKEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND PERFORMANCE CRITERIA* Represents Montgomery Industrial Services Limited to the owner in a professional and fair manner* Develop clear and concise targets and milestones for given projects* Understanding job costing to develop budgets with as much accuracy and transparency as possible for the project and project extras ensuring cost control practices are in place* Ensure tracking requirements and reports are completed with accuracy* Develops or monitors project requisitions and works with the central purchasing group to obtain all material in accordance with project schedules* Ensure continued progress and/or maintenance of the project schedules* Fully understands the project and develop deliverables around the scope of the project* Understands and administers the contractual agreements between Montgomery Industrial Services Limited, the owner and/or suppliers/subcontractors to ensure compliance and conformity to the contract documents* Addresses all relevant issues with in a professional and appropriate manner* Ensure compliance with all OSHA and Montgomery Industrial Services Limited safety procedures to ensure safe work for all team members* Ensures the appropriate level of quality assurance is applied to the project with the appropriate resources* Monitors and reports productivity to Project Owners and President* Track status of open issues (extras, RFIs, NCRs, risk register)* Organize the project team and encourage the members to exceed clients? expectations* Follow all applicable legislation and Company policies* Other duties as assigned by management* Travel as requiredPERSON SPECIFICATIONS AND QUALIFICATIONS* 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager required* Experience working on electrical and mechanical projects is preferred* Project Management Certification an asset* Advance analytical and time management skills* Budgeting and financial knowledge* Working knowledge of spreadsheets and software* Management and leadership skills* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal* Demonstrates creativity, initiative and perseverance* Detail-oriented* Excellent decision making and problem solving skillsWORK ENVIRONMENT* This is a fulltime in office position with travel to Job Site locations as required.
