B-Roll Videographer / Content Creator

About the Role:Hey! I’m looking for a creative, hands-on B-Roll Videographer to help capture content for my startup – but here’s the twist: you’ll be using an iPhone! If you’re someone who can work magic with an iPhone camera, knows how to make footage look polished and real, and loves bringing out the personality in a story, then you’re exactly who I’m looking for.

I want someone who sees all the small details and can shoot with personality and creativity – no fancy gear required!

What You’ll Do:

• Shoot with Style Using an iPhone: Capture engaging and authentic B-roll footage using an iPhone, focusing on natural, candid moments, scene-setting shots, and the kind of transitions that keep things interesting.
• Tell Our Story with Your Footage: Work closely with me to get a feel for the vibe and direction of each project, then find ways to bring that to life with iPhone shots that make our content stand out.
• Keep Things Fresh and Fun: Bring your ideas to the table and try out creative shots, angles, and framing that make the footage feel personal and relatable.
• Stay Organized with Clips: After shooting, label and organize your footage so it’s easy to find and use when we’re editing and putting everything together.

What I’m Looking For:

• Experience or a passion for videography and capturing moments, even if it’s mostly been with an iPhone or smartphone & even if it’s just for your own life or you don’t have much experience, but you feel confident & lit up to do this kind of work.
• A good eye for details, storytelling, and creating visually interesting shots with everyday scenes.
• Familiarity with lighting basics and how to make an iPhone shot look its best.
• Basic knowledge of editing software (iMovie, InShot, etc.) is a plus but not required.
• Flexibility, creativity, and a collaborative attitude.

Job Type: Part-time, Freelance (with room to grow as we build more content together)

The work will most likely be 1 hour at a time, 1-2x a month to start and events/races within the month. So not a huge time commitment, but room for growth as the business grows.

Location: Asheville, NC

The photos & videos will take place working out/at my gym, downtown Asheville, at the co-working space, races, events, etc. Mostly in Asheville, but some travel potential.

Pay & Benefits:

*$25/hr to start and if it’s working out & it’s good work & creating results for my business, after 90 days we will evaluate to get a raise, more hours or both.
