Videographer/Photographer

PEG Music LLC is hiring a part-time Photographer/Videographer (PV) for their Nashville office location.

Candidates must already live in the greater Nashville metropolitan area before submitting an application.

PEG Music is hiring a PV to work directly with musicians (independent artists) in the Nashville greater metropolitan area. This is a part-time role with the potential of working 10-20 hours per week. Most of the hours would be spent shooting content during writers’ rounds, live shows, concerts, and music events in the evening. The PV would also be shooting social media content, sizzle reels, and music videos with musicians.

Duties:

– Capture high-quality photos and videos in various settings, including studio and on-location shoots.
– Use your professional equipment and techniques to ensure optimal lighting, composition, and focus.
– Edit and retouch photos using industry-standard software such as Adobe Creative Suite
– Collaborate with musicians to understand their vision and deliver photos and videos that meet their expectations.
– Manage and organize digital files, ensuring they are properly labeled and stored for easy retrieval.
– Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in photography/.videography techniques.

Skills:

– Proficient in photography techniques, including composition, lighting, and posing
– Experience with professional photography software such as Capture One, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom), Final Cut Pro, and Adobe Premiere
– Strong attention to detail and an eye for capturing unique moments
– Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with musicians and understand their needs.
– Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
– Strong organizational skills to manage digital files and post-production workflow.
