Full job description

Assist CASAS with creative media needs for events, marketing, and print and digital materials.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Pre-Production
    • Brainstorm and develop video concepts
    • Attend weekly meetings with video team
    • Transport equipment and set up appropriately for video projects
  • Production
    • Conduct assignment-based video production
    • Interact with University professionals and on-screen talent
    • Maintain high-quality video standards throughout entirety of shoot
  • Post-Production
    • Make editorial decisions, rough cuts, audio adjustments, color correction, and final editing using Adobe Creative Suite
  • Complete special projects as assigned by supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS AND CREDENTIALS

Minimum Qualifications

  • Current Liberty University student in good standing with the University
  • Able to work between 12-16 hours a week (between the hours of 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday)
  • Possess a creative mindset, intellectual curiosity, and a desire to learn
  • Able to give and receive creative feedback
  • Understand camera and video equipment and functions
  • Professionalism to interact with department and university leaders
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience in videography
  • Eligible for Federal Work Study, Work Assistant, or International Work Supplement (depending on position)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Cinematic Arts, Digital Media, or similar major
  • Color-grading and motion graphic animation skills
