Video Editor/Production Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in video production and post-production, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling through visual media. You will be responsible for editing video content that aligns with our brand’s vision and engages our audience effectively.

Responsibilities

• Edit raw footage into polished video content using industry-standard software.
• Collaborate with the creative team to understand project goals and deliver high-quality videos that meet deadlines.
• Incorporate motion graphics and visual effects to enhance storytelling and viewer engagement.
• Manage video assets, including organizing files and maintaining an efficient workflow using tools like Adobe Bridge and Capture One.
• Conducted color correction and audio mixing to ensure the final product was of the highest quality.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to improve editing techniques and processes continuously.
• Assist in videography as needed, including filming on location or in studio settings.

Experience

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Adobe Bridge.
• Familiarity with Maya for 3D animation is a plus.
• Experience in motion graphics creation and video production techniques.
• Strong understanding of post-production processes, including color grading, sound design, and editing workflows.
• Previous experience in a similar role or related field is preferred but not mandatory; a strong portfolio showcasing your work is essential.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $22.00 – $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• Final Cut Pro: 2 years (Required)
• Adobe Photoshop: 2 years (Preferred)
