Job Description:
As a Bilingual Video Editor, you will create and edit videos for our app, supporting various projects across the US and China. Ideal candidates will have 2-4 years of experience in a marketing creative team or short video editing, with a strong understanding of social media platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Review and provide feedback on rough-cut videos
• Consistently improve video content based on performance reports from the marketing team
• Work effectively with global teams across various time zones
• Ensure timely and consistent communication
• Maintain quality and consistency across projects, adhering to brand guidelines
• Work from the Sunnyvale, CA office 4 days per week

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of experience in video editing
• proficient in Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects (DaVinci is a plus)
• Ability to follow direction, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality results independently or as part of a team
• Detail-oriented, striving for perfection
• Proficiency in Mandarin (verbal and written) is essential for collaborating with our teams and stakeholders in China, as well as for accurately reviewing and editing content that is intended for Mandarin-speaking audiences
• Strong creative thinker with proactive problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with social media platforms including YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
• Ability to pair music with storytelling effectively
• Startup experience is an asset
