About the position

The Video Editor and Motion Graphics Animator is an exciting new role in the Bond University in-house brand and content team reporting to the Creative Manager. We’re looking for a passionate editor with creativity and original thinking to join the team.

The position will be responsible for concepting, editing and animating a range of content to entertain and inspire our audiences. The right candidate will have extensive narrative editing expertise as well as advanced motion graphics and animation skills. You’ll be organised with good file management skills, self-motivated and a great communicator.

About the person

We are looking for:

  • A degree in a creative discipline (or equivalent qualification)
  • Track record of relevant experience in video editing, motion graphics, and animation expertise
  • Experience with sound design and colour grading
  • Specialised knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, etc.)
  • A knack for creating engaging content for social media and digital platforms
  • A self-motivated, original thinker with excellent communication skills

Salary details

The salary for the position commences at $93,419.65 per annum, plus 12% superannuation.

Please note: The fixed term of this employment contract will be for up to two years, with twelve months’ probation. The prospect of conversion to a continuing employment contract will be discussed at the end of the contract term.
