Job Title: Videographer
Location: Birmingham, AL (On-Site)
Job Type: Part-Time/Contract | $400/month
About Jumpshot Recruit: Jumpshot Recruit is a forward-thinking sports organization dedicated to empowering high school basketball players. We provide the tools, training, and resources athletes need to excel both on and off the court. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a talented videographer to help us capture and create compelling content to showcase our brand, players, and programs.
Position Overview: We are seeking a creative and motivated Videographer to join our team. This role will be responsible for capturing and editing high-quality video content for various platforms, including our website and social media. You will also be responsible for attending high school basketball games three times a week to create pre-game, post-game, and highlight recap videos, along with other creative projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Film and edit video content for general branding and marketing purposes on our website and social media platforms.
- Attend 3 high school basketball games per month to film and edit:
- Pre-game coach sideline interviews (1 of 3 games)
- Post-game athlete sideline interviews (1 of 3 games)
- Game highlight recap videos (All games)
- Collaborate with the marketing team on creative projects, including photoshoots, hype videos, and other visual media.
- Stay up-to-date on current videography trends and bring fresh ideas to the table to enhance content quality.
- Manage video content, ensuring it is well-organized and ready to publish for content coordinator.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a videographer, preferably in sports-related content.
- Strong video editing skills, with proficiency in software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Creative mindset with a strong understanding of visual storytelling and sports media.
- Must have a flexible schedule to attend games in the evenings.
- A strong plus if you have your own DSLR camera or professional video equipment.
- A passion for basketball or a background in sports videography is a plus.
Compensation:
- $400 per month, part-time contract position.
