We are seeking a talented and highly creative Social Media Content Creator and Assistant Video Editor to join our busy team at Ustreme Studios, based within our office in Whiteley. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your creativity while contributing to our company’s marketing efforts.
This role will allow you to be heavily involved in all social media content administration and video editing for productions and trailers. You will also be on hand to assist with filming productions related to our online comedy channel.
Person Specification:
Proficiency in HTML5 and experience with content management systems
Strong understanding of content strategy and content marketing principles
Knowledge of social media marketing strategies and platforms
Must be competent with Adobe software: After Effects, Photoshop, Premiere Pro and Davinci Resolve
Must be confident with DSLR cameras, BlackMagic cameras and digital file workflow
Have a good understanding of colour correction/LUT’s
Experience with Sound Recording
A brilliant organiser who can multi-task across a range of requests from different team members
Experience of working in a fast paced environment with heavy workloads and quick turnarounds
Understanding of lighting
Have a good working knowledge of recording sound
A strong communicator with solid writing skills
Ability to work in small team with or without supervision and occasionally with exterior artists and freelancers
Excellent computer knowledge
A keen eye for detail and excellent organisational skills
Creative mind and storytelling skills
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
Car owner / ability to drive essential, as there are no easily accessible public service routes, to and from the business park
University degrees / qualifications not essential. Self-taught is acceptable if you are proficient in the use of the above software and understanding of editing principles
Have an interest in comedy would be an advantage
Duties:
Responsible for social Media content administration
Create high-quality and engaging content for websites, blogs, social media, and other digital platforms
Conduct thorough research on industry-related topics to ensure accuracy and relevant content
Collaborate with the in-house team to develop content strategies that align with business goals
Optimise content for search engines using SEO best practices
Edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, grammar, and consistency
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in content creation and marketing
Edit and assemble recorded footage into a finished project that matches the director’s vision
Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film
Input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects to enhance the production value
Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running of the final product
Collaborate with the creative team to understand project requirements and objectives
Review raw footage and make necessary edits to create a cohesive story
Experiment with styles and techniques to create visually appealing videos
Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry best practices
Operating studio equipment during productions, working with all team members to ensure that delivery is consistent and to a high standard
Customer service skills with the ability to reply to our support queries in a polite and helpful way
Report and troubleshoot issues and show challenges in-studio and operational delivery, providing viable solutions to unique and complex situations
Working alongside the Head Production Assistant to ensure a co-ordinated approach to all recording, sound and editing tasks
Supporting company projects and events
Champion the brand by becoming a brand ambassador and ensure communications adhere to our corporate identity
Creative ideas for merchandise, social media content and programming
Respond to ad-hoc queries on behalf of the wider team
Some weekend and out of hours work will be required
Identifying development opportunities within the production environment to maximise workflow efficiencies and output quality
Other ad hoc duties where required
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £24,000.00 per year
