‘Lapland’ is a one-of-a-kind, 4-hour immersive experience that brings the enchanting story of Father Christmas and the secret world of the Elves to life. Set in the heart of Whitmoor Forest near Ascot, our theatrical live event invites families to explore a magical world filled with interactive storytelling, delightful activities, and unforgettable memories.

LaplandUK was lovingly created 17 years ago by Mike and Alison Battle, who wanted to share the pure, untarnished magic of Christmas with their children. Today, with the creative expertise of Hollywood set designers, West-End actors, and a generous sprinkle of Christmas magic, we continue to bring joy and wonder to thousands of families each year.

Role: Magic Elf

As a Magic Elf, you will play a central part in making our guests’ experience truly magical. You’ll guide families to meet Father Christmas, sharing enchanting stories and creating unforgettable moments along the way. You’ll also welcome them into Father Christmas’ woodland cabin, help capture special memories through photographs, and ensure that every family leaves with hearts full of Christmas spirit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Escort families to meet Father Christmas, sharing captivating stories about the Lapland world.
• Welcome guests to Father Christmas’ cabin, assist with photography, and create an immersive experience.
• Maintain the magic throughout the visit by engaging with children and families, bringing the festive world to life.

Location:
LaplandUK is located at Whitmoor Forest, Crown Estate, Swinley Road, Winkfield Row, near Ascot, SL5 8BD.

Important Dates:

• LaplandUK runs from 6th November to 24th December 2024.
• Full-time and part-time opportunities are available, with a minimum of 3 shifts per week.

Skills & Experience:

• Must be 18+ by October 2024.
• A passion for performing and storytelling, with the ability to bring characters to life.
• A warm and engaging personality, especially with children.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to share stories in an enchanting, fun manner.
• Energetic, enthusiastic, and able to maintain a joyful atmosphere throughout.
• A team player who enjoys working with others to create magical experiences.
• Previous experience in performance or working with children is a plus.
