Senior VFX Producer

BLOCKHEAD is a boutique VFX company with studios in Sydney and Auckland.
We’re a close-knit team and are looking for an experienced Senior VFX Producer to join us in Sydney. We’d love to have someone who can hit the ground running starting in November.

Ideally, you will have worked in a post-production TVC environment for 5+ years, with a good understanding of CGI/VFX pipelines, project management, and budgeting/scheduling.

This position is based in Sydney, and we ask that all applicants possess the necessary working visas.

Key responsibilities:

• Quote scripts alongside VFX Artists for both the Auckland and Sydney studios.
• Manage projects from initial calls/emails through the quoting/scheduling process to commencement and reconciliation.
• Together with the VFX Supervisors/Creative Directors, define and communicate appropriate creative and technical methodologies.
• Plan, monitor, and manage the production and progress of all deliverables, ensuring budgets, deadlines, and client expectations are on track.
• Look for innovative and creative ways to tackle challenges and problem-solve.
• Work closely with lead artists to manage teams and client expectations.
• Create and maintain healthy client relationships.
• Attend industry events and champion the BH brand.

What you’ll need:

• A good understanding of the post-production process, including live-action and CG-based visual effects.
• The ability to work as part of a team and individually as required.
• To be highly organised with great time/project management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 – $130,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

• Paddington, NSW 2021: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
