Role Overview:
As a Photographer and Videographer at Yavapai Landscaping, you’ll be a crucial part of our creative team, bringing our landscaping projects to life through your lens. This role is a blend of creativity, technical skill, and strategic planning. You will be responsible for capturing the essence of our projects and conveying our story to a wider audience. This position offers a balance of fieldwork and office duties, providing a varied and fulfilling work experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Social Media Content Creation: Document the before, during, and after of our landscape projects, including conducting video testimonials with clients and editing visual content for social media.
- Featured Property Videos
- Design Walkthroughs
- Montage Creation
- Drone Videography: Operate or have a desire to learn to operate drones to capture aerial footage of our projects, adding a dynamic perspective to our visual storytelling.
- Educational Content Production: Create informative videos featuring our team to educate and engage our audience.
- Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with project managers for on-site content capture and collaborate with our marketing team for content strategy and organization.
- Content Management: Efficiently organize and manage digital content, ensuring easy access and systematic archiving.
- Team Interaction: Regularly meet with Marketing Manager, Project Managers/Salesmen, and Crew to maintain alignment and consistent content output.
Work Structure:
- 50% office-based (editing, posting, coordinating).
- 50% on-site (content collection).
Collaboration & Reporting Structure:
In this role, the relationship with our marketing team is pivotal. You will work closely with our Marketing Manager to ensure a seamless handoff of content, strategize on project approaches, and infuse creativity into our projects.
- Content Handoff & Strategy: Organized and strategic collaboration with the marketer is essential. You’ll need to effectively store, sort, and hand off content (in Dropbox), contributing to the creative process of content development.
- Regular Coordination: Participate in daily meetings with the marketer, project managers, and crew. This is crucial for maintaining organization, aligning on goals, and ensuring steady content production.
- Supportive Relationship: The dynamic between you and the Marketer is one of mutual support. Together, you’ll brainstorm and plan future content, with each bringing unique insights and ideas to the table.
- Reporting and Oversight: While this is a collaborative role, it’s important to note that the marketer will oversee your work and act as your official manager. This structure ensures clear guidance and direction, aligning your efforts with our broader marketing strategies.

Ideal Candidate Equipment & Knowledge:
- Own Camera- DSLR or Mirrorless that can shoot video.
- Experienced with flying DJI drones, Part 107 FAA licensed is a plus.
- Very experienced in editing softwares- Photoshop/Lightroom and Final Cut, Premier or DaVinci.
- Experience with Landscape, Construction or Real Estate photography is a plus.
