Job Description: Sr. Video Editor

POSITION SUMMARY:

Mercury Radio Arts is hiring an experienced Video Editor at our Dallas, TX location. This position will be tasked to assemble recorded footage into a finished project that matches our show host’s vision and is suitable for broadcasting.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Edit and produce high-quality videos for various platforms
  • Collaborate with the creative team to develop video concepts and storyboards
  • Perform multi-cam editing for live events as well as pre and post productions
  • 

  • Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects
  • Create and design graphics for videos
  • Manage and organize video assets and archives
  • 

  • Create rough and final cuts
  • 

  • Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running
  • 

  • Consult with stakeholders from pre-production to post-production process
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in video editing and production
  • Assist with social media content creation and management

REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS:

  • Minimum 7 years experience as a video editor
  • 

  • Experience with Adobe video suite is required
  • 

  • Experience with V-Mix a plus
  • 

  • Control Room experience preferred
  • Multi-cam editing experience
  • Graphic design
  • Social media
