Full job description

Job Summary:

Perform duties as assigned by the Marketing and Communications Director such as, but not limited to, all functions related to producing photographs and videos for hospital Marketing and Communications. Such functions include, but are not limited to, scheduling photo shoots, shooting/filming, editing and providing assets in the required format to be used in a variety of media, creating content for digital platforms such as social media and website(s).

  • Consistently communicates in a friendly, courteous and compassionate manner in all interactions with patients, families, visitors, and employees while achieving exceptional sustained quality patient care, satisfaction, and loyalty.
  • Works and collaborates effectively with peers, other departments and outside vendors in obtaining information and achieving departmental goals.
  • Demonstrates ability to provide creative ideas, make recommendations, plan and implement related events such as photo shoots.
  • Demonstrates ability to communicate, plan and organize tasks and activities as necessary to meet deadlines and promote events.
  • Adheres to budgetary constraints while producing quality assets.
  • Produces creative and professional artwork in the form of photography and videography in a timely and effective manner.
  • Works effectively with office managers and physicians to help promote services.
  • Manages and organizes active and archival file storage of photographs and videos.

Qualifications:

Education/Skills

B.S./B.A. or other related degree in photography, videography, marketing, communications, public relations, journalism, radio-television-film or related field or recent work related experience required. Must be proficient on computer with expert knowledge of applicable software required such as Photoshop, Photo Editor, etc.

Work Experience:

A minimum of two years of work-related experience and/or demonstrated skill and artistic ability required.

Mental Demands:

Motivated team player, able to work in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple tasks and consistently meeting deadlines. Analytical and creative ability, good visualization skills, ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously under strict deadlines required. Ability to take creative direction required. Must be detail-oriented.
